Full-colour banners, hemmed and grommeted
Custom vinyl banners printed in full colour on heavy banner vinyl, with welded hems all round and brass grommets for hanging. Hems matter more than people expect: an unhemmed banner tears at the corner the first time it takes real wind, and a welded hem is what turns a printed sheet into something that survives a season on a fence.
What people order them for
Grand openings and now-open announcements, sales and seasonal promotions, trade show booths and conference backdrops, sponsorship and team banners for arenas and fields, construction and site hoarding, festivals and community events, birthday and anniversary banners, and temporary signage while a permanent sign is being made.
Sizes
Common sizes are 2 × 4, 3 × 6, 3 × 8 and 4 × 8 feet, but banners are printed to whatever size you need — the material runs wide enough that most single-piece banners are limited by where you are hanging them rather than by us. Give us the space it has to fit and we will work back from that. Grommets go every two to three feet as standard, and closer together on anything large or exposed.
Designing for distance
A banner is read from further away than almost anything else we make, so the same rule applies harder: roughly one inch of letter height per ten feet of viewing distance. A banner across a parking lot read from a hundred feet needs ten-inch letters, and that is most of a 3-foot banner used up by one line. Keep it to a headline, one supporting line and a contact detail. Leave a clear margin inside the hem so the grommets do not punch through your artwork — see the size guide.
Hanging it so it survives
Zip ties or bungee cords through every grommet, not rope through the end two. Tension it evenly so the vinyl is flat rather than bellied. On a solid wall or fence in an exposed spot, wind cut slits are worth asking for — they let gusts through instead of turning the banner into a sail that takes the fence with it. Indoors, none of this matters and a banner will hang for years.
How long they last
Banner vinyl and UV ink handle outdoor seasons without trouble; what finishes a banner is usually wind damage or a date that has passed rather than fading. Roll them printed-side out for storage rather than folding — a fold line in banner vinyl is permanent and shows up every time it is hung afterwards.

How do I get a quote?
Email info@signs613.com or send the request form on this site — both land in the same inbox. Tell us the size, the quantity and where it is going, and attach your artwork or a photo. A real person replies with a clear price and turnaround. We do not publish a phone number; if you would rather be called, leave your number in the form and say so.
Do you ship across Canada?
Yes — standard shipping is free anywhere in Canada. Expedited shipping is available on request; tell us your deadline and we will quote it alongside the free option.
Will I see a proof first?
Always. Every job gets a proof by email showing size, colour, spelling and layout, and nothing is cut or printed until you approve it.
How long does it take?
Most decal, sticker and lettering jobs are made within about five business days of proof approval, plus shipping. Larger signs and installations are scheduled with you. In a hurry? Say so and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
What file format should I send?
Vector artwork (SVG, PDF, AI or EPS) stays sharp at any size. A high-resolution PNG or JPG also works — at least 150 DPI at the finished size. We check it at the size you need and tell you before printing if it will not hold up.
Do you install signs?
Yes, across Belleville, Kingston, Napanee and the surrounding 613 area. For customers further away, many panel signs and all vinyl work can be shipped — ask and we will tell you plainly what works.
Can you help with the design?
Yes. Send your logo, the words you need and a photo of where it is going, and we will lay it out for you. If you only have a photo of an old sign or a sketch, we can redraw it.
What if something is wrong when it arrives?
Custom work cannot be returned for a change of mind, because it is made specifically for you — but if it arrives faulty, damaged or not as proofed, contact us within 14 days with a photo and we will remake or refund it.
